The CTU SpaceResearch team became the first university team in the Czech Republic to develop high-performance...
CTU Illustria
The Illustria is powered by a Phoenix hybrid engine that runs on nitrous oxide and 3D printed ABS fuel. We have been using the PWS 400K printer for a long time.
This is used primarily for the production of parts and prototypes for the optimization of flight hardware. Among the most used materials are PLA for structural prototypes, PETG for electronic components and ABS for fuel parts.
Apart from the development of Illustria, we can also focus on other projects such as StratoBallon or Vanguard. This is only thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.
We are very grateful for the cooperation with Print With Smile. It is great to have behind such an excellent partner as this company. Thank you very much.
